I’ve been reading a lot of crazy stuff in the news these days, mostly from reddit, digg, and the like. I came across this story about a 23 year old peace activist who was killed by a bulldozer that she was trying to stop from demolishing a Palestinian home.Read this article for more info about it:

In personal news, Thursday night, my friends and I went to a midnight showing of Cloverfield in Boston. I didn’t really know what to expect going into the movie, but I really enjoyed it. The only problem with the movie is that it’s shot much in the style of the Blair Witch Project, and the camera work is very shaky. My girlfriend had to leave the theater for a good 20 mins during it just so she wouldn’t feel so sick from it. I didn’t find the camera work to be too bad, and overall the movie was intense and interesting.
Lately I’ve been reading a lot about Ron Paul and I’ve been extremely interested in how much the mainstream media repeatedly ignores him as a potential candidate. It’s out of control, and after the 2nd place finish in Nevada and the more than $1.5 million dollars raised today (Martin Luther King day), he should be very much shown as a viable candidate.

Well, it’s almost 6 in the morning, and I was pretty bored tonight so I figured I would make a picture of a bunch of friends from home (so far just made the guys but will add the girls in a future post), and have it just be their eyes to see how well we all know each other. Below is a picture of 12 friends (from Beverly). Email your guesses of who is who to currier_benj@bentley.edu and I will post the results as people complete it. You don’t have to necessarily know us to play, but it would probably help. Click on the picture to be brought to a slighly higher resolution picture.

Send me your answers and i’ll post people’s scores in the bottom of this post as I receive results. Make sure to email them and not just comment this with it because that will give away answers to other people…

So, I know it has been a long time since I wrote in here, but I figured you all were dying for a break from my exciting life. Right now i’m jamming to the new Ted Leo and the Pharmacists CD called “Living with the Living” and so far I’m really digging it. I like their drummer a lot, and I’ve been thinking lately how much I want to learn how to play drums. Cause everyone knows that drums are so sick. I just finished listening to Circa Survive’s new cd called “On Letting Go” which I thought was amazing and I highly recommend checking out.
Earlier me, tewks and tubis were hanging watching Man vs. Wild earlier after we had got back from frisbee golf, which by the way, was entitled the “Man’s Classic” during which we played in thunder and lightning. But I have to say that Bear Grylls is probably the manliest man alive right now. The guy just goes to different extreme conditions to try to survive and make his way out, while giving us helpful hints and even putting himself in extra dangerous circumstances to show how to get out of them. I really gotta hand it to this guy, cause I could never imagine actually putting myself in those situations on purpose, knowing that I gotta figure out how to get out of it. He has earned unlimited man points.
On a different note, me, doane, driscoll and bates all went to the sox game against toronto the other night, but unfortunately didn’t get to catch the whole game because we got kicked out of the park. It was hilarious to have 6 or 7 cops escort us out of the park. Needless to say, we came back to Watertown and continued the festivities, which included a massive steak dinner and other fun around 7am.
Hopefully not too long after posting this entry I’m going to make a list of the top 50 cds that I own and think everyone should check out. (EDIT: Actually couldn’t narrow it down to 50 so I made it 80). So look for that as a link to the right, near the bank of disownment link.
That’s about it, check out this hilarious video, and maybe write a comment about this?
